Our Ensuite

Master Bedroom wall. This is where the bed will rest up against. We got the builder install some lighting above the bed. I made the builder move the switches because they weren't centered.

And Chef Gas Hotplate. We have decided not to go for stainless steel because it's a nightmare to clean.

Garage doors

Garage Floor and Fences

Garage floor has been poured and the fence frames are all in, can't wait for the panels to go in, then we really see how big our back yard will be. Paving, electrical and plumbing still to be done, but shouldn't be much longer now : )

Stormwater Pipes

Well we picked a great day for digging trenches. I think it reached 35 degrees on Sunday. We had to lay all the stormwater pipes for the soakwells before Content starting paving and pouring the garage floor. My mate Brad agreed to help me move the pipes from Bunnings and help me dig but I don't think he knew what he got him self in for. Thanks to Sher's Dad John for all his help. Probably would have taken us 2 days if we didn't have John showing us what to do.

Bricks and Stuff!

Kelly went up to the house today and the bricks have arrived for our driveway, so hopefully they will start that soon so I won't have black feet and thongs after every visit!

Our gutters and doors etc have also had another coat of paint, looks great.

Taking a friend up on Saturday to have a look, so I am hoping the driveway will mabye be started by then.

Painting and Progress Update

The front door has been given one coat of paint, along with the gutters, downpipes and internal doors, the second coat will hopefully be done next time we go up. Next should be the plumber and the electrician, then the garage floor will be poured and the garage door (cream) will go on.
We think we should be in in around 10 weeks, but we will say March as we are getting an external building inspector, who will come in and do up a report on everything that needs fixing, and that will probably take a month or so before all the problems are fixed.
We have also put in our fencing form, so they should go in in about 6-8 weeks.

Tiling and Grout Completed

Went up to the house again with Kel, and the tilers were there working, they have grouted both bathrooms, and done the skirting tiles in the laundry, the laundry splashback and the kitchen splash back, it looks awesome.
