Bricks and Stuff!

Kelly went up to the house today and the bricks have arrived for our driveway, so hopefully they will start that soon so I won't have black feet and thongs after every visit!

Our gutters and doors etc have also had another coat of paint, looks great.

Taking a friend up on Saturday to have a look, so I am hoping the driveway will mabye be started by then.

Painting and Progress Update

The front door has been given one coat of paint, along with the gutters, downpipes and internal doors, the second coat will hopefully be done next time we go up. Next should be the plumber and the electrician, then the garage floor will be poured and the garage door (cream) will go on.
We think we should be in in around 10 weeks, but we will say March as we are getting an external building inspector, who will come in and do up a report on everything that needs fixing, and that will probably take a month or so before all the problems are fixed.
We have also put in our fencing form, so they should go in in about 6-8 weeks.

Tiling and Grout Completed

Went up to the house again with Kel, and the tilers were there working, they have grouted both bathrooms, and done the skirting tiles in the laundry, the laundry splashback and the kitchen splash back, it looks awesome.

More Tiles and Grout!!!

Took Mum (Holt) up to the house today after work for a quick look, and they have managed to grout the whole floor in the back bathroom, put all the wall tiles on, and tile the bath hob and bath surroundings. They have also tiled the entire ensuite, and grouted some of the floor in there too. Looks great, and will even better once its all grouted and cleaned, as its very dusty : )

Tiles, Shelves and Rails and Bathroom Finishings!

The floor tiles have been laid in both the bathroom and the ensuite (no grout yet,) the shelves and rails have been installed in all the robes, pantry and cupboard, and the towel railing and toilet roll holders have been installed. Good progress! Hopefully the wall tiles were done today.

Doors, A Bath and Shower Hobs!

Went up to the house for a visit on Sunday, lots has been happening, all our doors have been hung, the bath is in and bricked, the shower hobs have been bricked and rendered, the sealer has been done in both bathrooms, as well as the concrete being been poured in the bathrooms ready for the tiles, which have been delivered, along with the bathroom accessories. We also went and bought more of our back bathroom tiles so we can do the laundry in the same.
Getting close now, CAN'T WAIT!!!
