Palmetto & The Man Shed

I managed to score some "FREE" Palmetto Lawn from Paul at work as he is putting in a pool in his backyard. So with some help from Aaron and a handy turf cutter I managed to move it all the way from Jandakot to Banksia Grove in half a day. It looks great even though its a bit patchy. It should fully cover in a couple of months.

Also managed to put up my Man shed the other day too with help from Brad. It took 5 hours and plenty of beers but we got there in the end.

Next job is putting in my front soakwell because I want the landscaping done ASAP. Will post more pics soon.

Bricks sand and sweat

Aaron & Kell's Driveway

Our Driveway

Been in the house for 4 weeks now and it has been great. We are still living with no flooring and paint but we just managed to get all our blinds installed and they look great. My 3m X 3m Colourbond shed has also arrived and I have been busy getting the backyard ready for the install.

Well last weekend was a long weekend and what a perfect weekend to pave two driveway crossovers and one footpath. If you don't know Sher's sister Kelly and her Husband live two doors down the street.

It all started on Saturday morning. Chris was the first to arrive and was all keen and ready to go but had no idea what he was in for. Aaron turned up with the trailer and compactor. John (Sher's Dad) arrived with all the tools and showed us how to do everything. We managed to finish my driveway by 3pm and then got started on Aaron's. Aaron's was a nightmare because his driveway had a big curve and required a lot of brick cutting. We finished Aaron's driveway by 5pm the next day. Then we decided to compact and screed the footpath and then before we knew it at 8pm we were paving the footpath. A whole pack of Panadol and tube of Voltaren later and we had driveways.

It is a very good feeling to be able to drive into your garage for the first time!!
