The Construction Process
- 1. Brickwork to PLATE HEIGHT stage – the second progress payment stage (Done 20.08.07)
- 2. Roof timber (Done 01.09.07)
- 3. Roof plumbing (Done 03.09.07)
- 4. Copper & electrical tubing and prelay (Done 08.09.07)
- 5. Roof Cover being tiles or colorbond (Done 23.09.07)
- 6. First coat of cement render inside called “float” coat (Done 19.10.07)
- 7. Ceilings are installed (Done 23.10.07)
- 8. White plaster “set” coat is applied to the walls (Done 07.11.07)
- 9. Doors and window glazing installed and “LOCK-UP” stage (Done 15.11.07)
- 10. The third progress payment (Done 15.11.07)
- 11. Internal fixing (doors, shelves etc) and cupboards are installed (Done 21.11.07)
- 12. Internal plumbing with sinks, bath, basin, trough etc (Done 21.11.07)
- 13. Tiling to bathroom / ensuite (Done 08.12.07)
- 14. Painting - internal (not walls unless specified) and external (Done 10.01.08)
- 15. Plumber to install taps and electrician to install switches and light points. (Done 19.01.08)
- 16. Garage Floor (hardstand) and paving completed (Done 19.01.08)

- This is the blog of Ben and Sheridan building their first home in Banskia Grove, Perth, Western Australia. The house we are building is the "Purchell" by Content Living. Ben is a 22 year old Computer Technician and Sheridan is 22 and works as an Accounts Payable Officer. We have just been married this October and can't wait to move into our new home.

Moving quickly hey.
Just make sure that your shower head pipe is square to the wall! (looks a little wonky)
Also whats the story with the gap between the ceiling and your pillar holding up the alfresco?

I think its just the angle of the photo.
About the pillar I'm guessing they will be coming back to finish that bit off. I don't think they could have put the final course in until the ceiling was installed.
